How to Get a Flat Stomach Fast

So you want to know how to get a flat stomach fast? It isn’t as difficult as it sounds; obtaining the kind of defined and athletic tummy you are looking for takes three specific things - all of them are simple, but they aren’t necessarily easy. Lets discuss my three top tips to get a flat belly!

1.) Clean up your diet.

The first and most important thing you need to do if you want to get a flat stomach is to sort out your diet - of course exercise is important but it’s what you eat that really counts when it comes down to losing body fat.

Having a low body fat percentage is imperative if you want defined, visible abdominals.

There is a mass of confusion these days as to what constitutes a healthy diet and which diet maximizes fat loss. We have been bombarded with “revolutionary” diets which are endorsed by countless celebrities - the zone diet, the south beach diet and our very own flat belly diet to name but a few.

All of them offer different opinions on the best way to lose weight whether it be low carb or no carb, high protein or low fat. There is so much conflicting information that the average would-be dieter is completely lost as to where to begin in their quest to get a flat belly.

The diet I have found to be most successful in terms of my quest to lose belly fat was Fat Loss 4 Idiots - this particular program showed me how to get a flat stomach fast and worked wonders for me. I consistently recommend it to friends and clients alike but whatever diet you choose, make sure it is one you can stick to for a sustained period of time. Six packs don’t come over-night!

2.) Focus on high intensity exercise.

Highly intense exercise beats low intensity workouts hands-down when it comes to fat loss and if you work your whole body at the same time you will get the best possible metabolic response from your body to lose the stubborn stomach fat that you have been so concerned about.

Short, high intensity workouts should definitely be a part of your weekly routine if you want to get a flat belly. Make sure you structure your exercise so that you work in short “high energy” bursts and follow these with a short recovery period. Work the whole body during these sessions instead trying to isolate specific muscle groups.

I am a fan of non-competing super-sets as found in the Turbulence Training program - these are essentially two exercises performed back to back without rest which use muscles that do not interfere with each other, ie. split squats then dumbbell rows (legs and back).

3.) Specific abs training.

The final key of our how to get a flat stomach fast article deals with specific stomach muscle training. There are hundreds of abs exercises out there that you can try but there are a few that give you maximum results. Crunches and sit ups are great if you aren’t of a high fitness level but if you have been exercising for some time you should be looking at building resistance - it is this resistance that develops and tones the muscles.

Try doing some hanging leg raises remembering to curl your pelvis up as you raise your legs. This exercise is extremely tough if you do it right and is one of the highest resistance exercises for your abs. Another good one is lying hip thrusts which Britney Spears used to great effect in her hey-day.

Forget mindlessly pumping out hundreds of crunches and focus on quality - the general rule is, if you can easily do more than 20 reps of an abs exercise you need to be looking for more resistance.

Commit for a flatter tummy!

Commit to the three keys above and you will find that you can get a flat belly far easier than you once thought. Of course changing your body significantly takes time - don’t be discouraged if you don’t see the kind of results right away. Keep going, set yourself realistic goals and you will soon find people admiring you on the beach! Feel free to leave a comment - I love to hear your opinions on how to get a flat stomach fast or anything fitness and nutrition related. Good luck.

10 cheap countries to visit now

The good old days when sterling was king and your pound was guaranteed to net you $2 or 1.5 euro are long gone. So with the dollar and the euro flexing their financial muscle against sterling, it's becoming more and more difficult to find somewhere to visit on the cheap.

Some of the old holiday favourites - like France, Spain Italy and the US - are no longer on the map for the budget conscious traveller who is very much looking elsewhere. These days, countries outside the eurozone are increasingly popular destinations, as are some of the more unexpectedly cheaper holiday destinations. Read on to find our choice of cheap (or cheaper) countries that offer better value for money than some of the usual suspects. There are bargains to be had - you just have to get off the well beaten tourist path to find them.

Mexico

The slide of the Mexican peso and favourable exchange with sterling has made Mexico a good option for the traveller. Flights to Cancun are cheaper than they've been for some time. Visitors can explore the Yucatan Peninsula and enjoy the exotic beaches, world-class snorkelling and scuba diving or opt to explore the remarkable Mayan ruins left behind by the last Mexican natives. Things are relatively cheap, even in the tourist areas, but if you stay in an area that is not one of the tourist hot spots, it will be cost you much less and give you a proper taste of local life.

Iceland

Iceland has never been noted for its cheapness - until now. Financial meltdown of the country, which saw it effectively made bankrupt, has seen Iceland go from mega-expensive to affordable. Basics like food and hotels have near halved in price, which while still not considered exceptionally cheap when compared to other bargain destinations, is still a damn sight more affordable than it has been in years. For anyone wanting to check out the country's lava landscapes or bathe in natural hot springs such as the geothermal 'Blue Lagoon' - the time to do it is now.

Turkey

Relative stability in currency markets between the pound and the Turkish lira have meant that Turkey remains a good cheap option, so much so that people are even using the likes of Istanbul for a weekend city break. Unlike shopping meccas like New York, you can still haggle yourself a shopping bargain in the Grand Bazaar or the antique district of Cukurcuma. While the cost of living has shot up in Turkey, being outside the euro zone means that prices are still low compared to the majority of Europe. And with experts predicting that hotel rates are going to rise in coming years because of continued popularity, there really isn't a better time to take advantage.

South Africa

South Africa is a good holiday destination for UK travellers looking to get a bit more for their pound. Depreciation in the value of the rand against sterling, as opposed to the falling value of the pound against the euro, makes a trip much more affordable to visitors. While flights might be relatively expensive, there are plenty of budget accommodation options combined with a low cost of living (a beer will cost you around £1), which make South Africa a good choice for the budget conscious. Try a budget safari break in the Kruger National Park, with tented accommodation being a good cheap option.

Bulgaria
Bulgaria is one of the cheapest destinations in Europe, but that that could all be set to change. In preparation for the currency the 'lev' being ditched for the euro (which is tentatively planned for 2012), general prices have started to rise, but not enough to prevent you securing a bargain break. A good cost-effective option is a private villa or apartment. And don't forget that Bulgaria has plenty of budget options for those intended to hit the ski slopes, with Bansko being a great cheap ski destination - and that's before you've sampled the budget priced après ski. Simply put, visit Bulgaria now before it enters the eurozone.

Egypt
The low-cost Egyptian pound makes Egypt one of the best value countries at present to the UK traveller. While previously for some, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Egypt is open to even the most budget conscious of travellers. Fine sandy beaches and some of the world's best historical sites make Egypt a hot destination in many more way than the excellent sunshine hours of summer. Don't forget that Egypt has some of the best scuba diving and snorkelling around and the likes of Sharm el Sheik is now one of the first places that people will take the plunge if they want to learn to scuba dive.

Tunisia

Another North African option, Tunisia enjoys fine sunshine which sees it as a popular spot for both winter and summer sun breaks. Accommodation and eating out are great value, making Tunisia a great choice for the budget traveller. Resort hotels around Hammamet, Sousse and Port el Kantaoui are good options, and provide opportunity for some bargain pampering spa sessions at a fraction of the price that you would normally expect. Another good destination is Monastir where you can delve into Tunisia's past (including the well preserved Ribat (fortress) used in Monty Python's Life of Brian, plus chilling out for free on the gorgeous beach.

Croatia
Croatia still remains outside the eurozone, so is good value for money compared with the likes of France or Italy. The weakness of the Croatian kuna against the pound, makes it one of the cheapest destinations in Europe. If you are on a budget, there's no lack of cheap accommodation in Croatia, from campsites to private guest houses, while even the more up-market hotels still offer good deals. The easiest way to do this is to travel outside of the peak season (June to August) - instead travelling in April/ May or September/October, when you should still experience good weather but find room prices far cheaper.

Thailand
British travellers to Thailand had been in for something of a shock in recent times as the pound lost almost a third of its value, meaning that the holiday hot spot was no longer the cheap option it has always been. The good news is the pound has recovered some of its strength against the Thai baht, and is likely to improve further, so that a visit will hopefully become cheaper and cheaper. Political unrest in the country has indirectly helped reduce demand for flights and holiday packages, and as a result, prices have fallen. For many, Bangkok is a must, and with plenty of flights to choose from, airfares are generally low.

And finally...

An off the wall suggestion
Open up your range of cheap options by utilising some of the schemes available to really do things on the cheap - such as temporarily swapping your home or sleeping on a stranger's sofa! These ideas might not seem as strange as you might first think and are options used by an increasing number of people. Such schemes include the likes of Homelink International, Intervac GB, Home Exchange, and Holswap, which allow people to stay anywhere in the world by temporarily exchanging their home for someone else's.

new moon

saya sudah menonton New Moon secara online semalam. hmmm. bagi saya yang bukan peminat fanatik Edward Cullen dan Bella Swan, jadi, saya merasakan cerita New Moon biasa sahaja. okay, jangan marah ye peminat Twilight Saga. heeeee :P saya suka melihat gigi Jacob Black dalam cerita ni. putih sekali! walaupun die serigala jadian, tapi tetap kacak jugak. sama je dengan Edward Cullen. hahaha. badan Jacob lebih tegap dan gagah rasanya berbanding dengan Edward. LOL.

to my sis

Happy 23th Birthday to my sister, Khairul Bariyyah!!
May ALLAH bless you always, get your job easily (eventhough you already have one!! ) and find your soulmate. AMIN :)

Good Pay without 4-year Degree

A well-paying, rewarding career doesn't have to mean a four-year slog through college. There are plenty of jobs that pay nicely with less education, ranging from certificate courses just a few months long to two-year community college programs.

Education costs for most of these careers are modest -- you might even pay nothing at all. If you're from a low-income family and between 18-24, you may qualify to receive up to three years of free job training, housing and support services through the federal program Job Corps. National program director Esther Jacobs says Job Corps serves roughly 100,000 students a year.

"We're the best-kept secret in this country," she says.

Otherwise, state-sponsored technical and vocational schools will usually be a cheaper option than private training companies, and many offer financial aid. Most training programs will help you with job placement when you're done, too.

Here's a look at some of the best-paying jobs you can get into fast, listed with their median annual pay rate for someone with three to five years' experience, according to PayScale.com.

Network installers, network administrators, computer systems administrators
If you enjoy tinkering with computers and wireless-network routers, consider this field. The business slowdown may have damped demand a bit, but it'll rebound fast as the economy picks up, says Laurence Shatkin, co-author of "300 Best Jobs Without a Four-Year Degree." Salary: $49,801.

Police officer
Law-and-order types who enjoy working with people might consider a quick career change into law enforcement. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports some police departments take candidates right out of high school and let them start with just a few months of training provided by the department, while others require one to two years of police-academy training. $47,485.

Court reporter
This one's a great recession-proof career for those who enjoy courtroom drama. There's great job security as the courts must continue to function in good times or bad, notes author Shatkin. $47,275.

Clinical laboratory technologist
Science nuts who regularly watch "CSI" might want to consider this line of work. Clinical lab techs examine tissue and body fluids under a microscope and test them for diseases. This field is expected to grow as new diagnostic tests continue to be developed, says Shatkin. Entry into the field requires at least a two-year training course from either a technical college or hospital. $47,081.

Heating-ventilation-air conditioning (HVAC) installer
If you enjoy working with your hands, this job's got that, along with the satisfaction of knowing you're helping people stay cool -- or warm. You can earn the required certificate at a community college, private school or online (click here for a list of schools), and get started in just a few months. $44,814.

Computer numerical control
In areas of the country that still have a strong manufacturing base, there's demand for people who can program the robots that do much of today's assembly-line work, says Bryan Albrecht, president of Gateway Technical College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. "You need strong analytical decision making skills, where you can diagnose a problem in a machine," he says. $44,629.

Solar energy systems installer
This and many other "green" jobs are hot now, as the recently signed federal stimulus bill put billions into alternative energy and energy conservation. Albrecht reports classes in this field are filling up fast at his college, as a boom in installing solar panels is expected. $44,460.

Correctional officer
Working in prisons can be stressful and hazardous, so it pays pretty well. Corrections can also be a good option for those who want to work the night shift, as prisons must be staffed 24/7. The federal Bureau of Labor Statistics report on this occupation notes that local and state prisons may accept high school graduates without further training. $42,795.

Security and fire-alarm systems installers
Demand for security systems, Webcams and fire alarms is increasing, author Shatkin says, because the price of these systems is falling. The National Alarm Association of America says training can be done in less than two weeks and costs under $1,000. $41,417.

Aircraft mechanic
People who enjoy tinkering with their cars -- and live near an airport -- might consider this field, which pays better than automotive repair. Unless Americans suddenly give up their love affair with cheap travel, this field is expected to see continued steady growth. According to the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics, roughly 170 schools nationwide are certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to offer the needed training, which usually takes between 18 months and two years. $39,584.

yesterday

tak cukup panjang tapi takpela. cukup sekadar tutup bahagian tertentu sahaja. hehe.

yes, he is always like that. not photogenic-type. HA HA HA ;p

yesterday, I went out, happily dating with Haffiz @Jusco Wangsa Maju; usual place to hang out for us. it's more nearest and we can save budget for that. I think this is my most favorite place to go when studied in IIUM for almost three years. I'd put this as my top list place. yeahh, I know that it's nothing there but I don't mind because I'm not an outgoing person that really loves to spend time outside. I'd choose place that I am comfortable with. okay, stop about that. we ate at stall in front of Jusco and beside the Balai Polis. even it is a small stalls with a very old rooftop, but the food was very superlicious YUMMY! for me, especially! hehehe. but, Haffiz also agree about that. It's Malay dish for sure. I am search more for Malay food and cuisine! I'm Malay type anyways :) After ate, we headed to Jusco, searching for new blouse but for this time, I didn't find any blouse, t's that attract me well. It's the same blouse just like before!! even there is sale, but still, I don't buy anything. glad! I can save my money actually, kan? hahaha. but, I end up bought a table cloth and "pewangi bilik"!! what??! hahahaha. yes, I turn out to find pillow at the first point but I change it. I want table cloth to wrapped up my cold-study-desk. Therefore, I bought the yellow table cloth that has 50% offers! From rm23.90, I get rm11.95 only. hehehe. so, that's my story about yesterday. sorry if my English is very lame and broken. like I care huh.

confession

I don't know what to write about, what to post about, yet there are a lots of things happened around. seems like I neglecting this blog. yeahhh, I just felt a bit bored doing blogging. I'm not a good writer that knows how to write and make up a good story. Therefore, I just leave this blog temporarily.

tiada lagi

*suddenly, i miss atok and tok :((
